The Vanier Community Centre organized a community BBQ in the Ottawa Inn Hotel parking lot. This event aimed to bring together community members to foster meetings and exchanges with the various organizations that serve them. Among these organizations, RAFIO was present to share its services and initiatives.

Participants

Members of the local community, including families, youth, and seniors.
Various community organizations and partners of the Vanier Community Centre, such as support groups, social services, and representatives of local NGOs.

Course of the event

BBQ communautaire : Un repas convivial a été servi, comprenant des options pour tous les goûts (viande, végétarien et halal). Cet espace a permis aux participants de se mêler et d’échanger dans une ambiance chaleureuse.
Stands des organisations : Chaque organisation présente avait un stand dédié où les participants pouvaient en apprendre davantage sur les services offerts. RAFIO a mis en avant ses programmes d’aide et de soutien communautaire, suscitant beaucoup d’intérêt.
Discours et présentations :
- Un représentant du Centre communautaire Vanier a prononcé un discours d’ouverture, rappelant l’importance de la solidarité communautaire.
- Les organismes présents ont brièvement pris la parole pour présenter leurs missions.
