Target audience: RAFIO beneficiaries (youth, single-parent families, and seniors)
Introduction
This exchange session was organized to gather the perspectives of RAFIO beneficiaries on the services offered and to offer suggestions for better meeting the needs of Black and Francophone immigrants. The day was structured into three parts, each dedicated to a specific group of beneficiaries: youth, single-parent families, and seniors.
Session procedure
Part One: Discussion with young people

Discussion on the accessibility and effectiveness of RAFIO services for young people.

Identification of challenges encountered in their integration and development.

Suggestions for improving support programs, particularly in the areas of employment and mentoring.
Part Two: Exchange with single-parent families

Sharing experiences and challenges related to single parenthood and access to support services.

Specific needs in childcare, financial assistance, and psychological support.

Recommendations to strengthen support and networking between families.
Part Three: Exchange with Elders

Discussion on social isolation and access to healthcare for immigrant seniors.

Importance of community activities to strengthen social ties.

Suggestions for improving inclusion and adapting services to the specific needs of seniors.
Conclusion and recommendations
The discussion session provided a better understanding of the expectations and needs of RAFIO beneficiaries. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the services offered while suggesting areas for improvement. Recommendations included:

Strengthen communication between RAFIO and beneficiaries to improve access to services.

Develop specific initiatives for young people, particularly in the areas of training and professional integration.

Introduce more personalized support for single-parent families.

Promote the organization of intergenerational activities to combat the isolation of seniors.
