Activity Overview
On July 12, 2025, RAFIO had the honor of organizing the official launch of a project focused on maternal mental health, pregnancy, and postpartum depression among Black and Francophone immigrant women in Ontario.
The purpose of this project is to raise awareness, provide information, and break the taboos surrounding perinatal mental health while highlighting the realities experienced by immigrant women throughout their motherhood journey.
The event took place in a warm, respectful, and collaborative atmosphere. Participants demonstrated strong interest and active engagement throughout the discussions and activities.
