Activity Overview
On Saturday, March 29, 2025, RAFIO, in partnership with Mosaïque interculturelle, organized an educational and cultural outing as part of the project “Facilitating the Integration of Youth in Canada.”
The activity took place at MuseoParc Vanier and aimed to provide young participants with an immersive experience of a Canadian cultural tradition while promoting social integration, group cohesion, and community engagement.
The outing was supervised by Mr. Apollinaire, Mrs. Nicole, and Antoinette Irarera. The event was held in a festive, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere despite the cool weather conditions.
Activities Conducted
Several cultural and recreational activities were offered to the youth during the outing, including:
A warm shared meal in a friendly and welcoming setting;
An introduction to axe throwing, a popular Canadian activity that was greatly enjoyed by participants;
The discovery of traditional sugar shack products, including maple syrup and various treats such as popcorn and cotton candy.
These activities provided youth with an authentic cultural experience while strengthening relationships among participants.

The youth actively participated in all of the activities offered and demonstrated great enthusiasm throughout the outing.
