Activity Overview
On Friday, July 31, 2026, RAFIO youth participated in an interactive activity dedicated to exploring artificial intelligence (AI). The session aimed to raise awareness among young people about a technology that is increasingly present in their daily lives while encouraging them to use digital tools responsibly, critically, and thoughtfully.
The activity helped participants better understand the various applications of artificial intelligence, as well as its benefits, limitations, and potential risks.
Activities Conducted
During the workshop, several topics were explored through group discussions and exchanges, including:
The benefits and opportunities offered by artificial intelligence;
The limitations and risks associated with its use;
The impact of AI on everyday life, education, and society;
Personal information protection and privacy;
Issues related to misinformation and the reliability of information generated by digital tools;
The importance of using artificial intelligence responsibly and ethically;
Developing critical thinking skills when evaluating content and information generated by technology.
To make the activity more engaging and interactive, the youth also participated in an AI-themed Kahoot quiz. This fun activity allowed them to test their knowledge, learn new concepts, and continue discussions in a friendly atmosphere.
The session concluded with a shared pizza meal, giving the youth an opportunity to relax and socialize after the workshop.
Participation and Feedback
The youth actively participated throughout the activity. Their curiosity and interest in artificial intelligence encouraged questions, discussions, and thoughtful reflection.
The Kahoot quiz was particularly effective in maintaining participants’ engagement and creating a lively atmosphere. Sharing pizza also strengthened interactions among the youth and provided an opportunity to continue conversations informally.
Closing of the Activity
The activity took place in a warm, participatory, and educational atmosphere. Participants left with a better understanding of the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence and greater awareness of the precautions to take when using it.
The session also highlighted the importance of developing digital skills and critical thinking among young people so they can better understand the technologies shaping their daily lives and future.
Conclusion
The “Discovering Artificial Intelligence” workshop provided RAFIO youth with an educational and interactive opportunity to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with AI.
Through discussions, the Kahoot quiz, and peer exchanges, participants were encouraged to adopt a more informed, critical, and responsible approach to digital technologies.
This initiative reflects RAFIO’s commitment to empowering young people by strengthening their independence, critical thinking skills, and active participation in an increasingly digital society.
