Activity Overview

On Friday, September 19, 2025, RAFIO organized a youth meeting for immigrant youth focused on nonviolent communication.

The objective of this activity was to raise awareness among participants about the importance of respectful, kind, and constructive communication in order to promote inclusion, mutual understanding, and community living.

The meeting took place in a friendly, participatory, and respectful atmosphere. The youth showed strong interest and active engagement throughout the activities.

Activities Carried Out

Several educational and interactive activities were organized during the session, including:

• Viewing a video on nonviolent communication;

• Discussions and exchanges allowing youth to share their knowledge and reflections on the topic;

• An interactive Kahoot quiz to reinforce learning in a fun way.

These activities helped participants better understand the importance of communication in interpersonal relationships and explore strategies that promote respect and active listening.

Participation and Feedback

The youth actively participated in the discussions and activities. The exchanges were enriching, respectful, and constructive.

Participants appreciated the interactive approach of the activity as well as the space provided to express their ideas and share their experiences in a safe and inclusive environment.
